Do I need to wear a gown during my chiropractic appointment?

For certain assessments and adjustments—especially during your initial consultation—we may ask you to wear a gown to allow for a more accurate spinal analysis and to ensure we can observe posture and movement clearly. This is especially important when using the Gonstead chiropractic method, which relies on detailed observation and palpation of the spine.
Wearing a gown helps maintain hygiene, comfort, and professional standards during your visit. If a gown is required, your chiropractor will let you know in advance or at the beginning of your appointment.

How do I put on a gown?

If you’re asked to wear a gown, we’ll guide you through the process when you arrive:

You’ll be shown to a private changing area.
The gown should be worn with the opening at the back, unless otherwise instructed.
Remove your top (and bra if you're comfortable, as it can interfere with spinal checks), then slip the gown on like a jacket and tie it at the back.
Once changed, you can wait in the changing room. Dr. Ksenia will come and pick you up and  proceed with your assessment and/or adjustment.
